My internet got all glitchtastic and I was forced to delete this critique.
Anyway, here's a new version using the jolly brewer's idea. I think that this is going to be the general direction that I will be going in but I am still open to suggestions.
A LOT of potential here. My main quip is the inconsistant perspective. The Austronaut is different from the swingset. Also, make the other swing levitate slightly, since there isn't gravity. Variate the colors a bit, since purple on black isn't really doing it for me.
Furthermore on the perspective, his head is facing over his back shoulder towards the viewer. I think you should re-draw him entirely, personally.
So I made the seat levitate a little and I moved around one of the craters. I also tried to make the perspective on his head and legs a little bit better.
To get the perspective on the guy right, you need to either spin him round to the left, or rotate the frame to the right. Rotating the frame will be easier.
I think maybe you need to move the jetpacks a little, maybe so they are on the bottom of the seat as they look like they are burning his arse at the moment.
