Hi, just finished this design and wanted comments on color scheme, etc....and especially help with what to title it!!

For titles I\'m thinking:
One For You...and One For Me!
Morning Coffee
or
Sleeping Sunflower

Which title do you like best or do you have other ideas? Thanks!

who said "needs work?" any particulars?

I personally can't see where it needs work... The textures are really amazing; they add a feeling of depth to it.

I'd just go ahead and sub this! I think your colors work very well together, the title is catchy, and the illustration work is lovely. Great job!

its cute, but Im just a little confused with whats going on at the bottom of the design.. is there a flower petal holding another sunflower leaf with a clock? and behind it, is that an underground view?

I think its great, but the bottom of it is a little confusing.

one of the sun's rays is reaching down trying to pull up or wake up the sunflower (by its leaf/arm)...and that sunflower's other leaf (hand) is trying to hit the snooze or alarm (doesn't show snooze button literally)...the coffee is hitting the ground around the sleeping sunflower...perhaps into a field of coffee...i don't know...could be dirt...open to interpretation i guess, even for me! i think on the larger version it might look less confusing...??

thats great!

I think what would have helped me see that better is if the dirt area continued further down below the coffee, because for some reason I thought the coffee area below the dirt was supposed to be the roots of the sunflower, or the underground part. still cool.. and it looks like everyone else understood it, so its probably just me.

yeah, Danielle, i can see what you mean! i do agree, that area is slightly confusing...but because it's all hand-drawn, scanned, pieced, colored in Photoshop, it is really difficult for me to make major alterations without major time headaches!! i do the best with it, and put it in critiques for feedback, but i know that usually i've already locked myself into a lot by this point!!! which title do you like?

thanks geekgirl06!

Sleepy Sunflower .... rather than sleeping.. or if you do the full title..

Rise and Shine, Sleepy Sunflower!

because whenever I hear that phrase its usually, Rise and Shine, Sleepyhead!
