I think it's too simple. what if you had elephants swarming around the base of their AT-AT "momma", or put the AT-AT on an African savanna? Or combine the two and have a super awesome Trials of Life scene where the AT-AT defends its kin from hungry lions?

Have some x-wings flying around and then make the elephant a Mumak (they are bigger than regular elephants) from The Return of the King and have them kind of hugging with it's trunk. Maybe have some confused looking warriors.
