The concept behind this shirt is simple. It\'s based on a Roland TR909 Rhythm Composer. It\'s a staple of dance music since the 80s and is still in use today.

Four colors: Red, black, white, grey.

against - Yeah, I kind of considered that, but this confirms my suspicions that most of Threadless users are either music snobs or musicians themselves. Therefore, I'm pretty sure non musicians would wear it and know what it is. Besides, that's why I called it a "drum machine" rather than a rhythm composer on the shirt. :P

tesco - When I use FL and I'm composing beats, I use both the 808 and 909... I wish I had some real Roland's though.

And at the same time, I wish I had a set of electronic drums and a keytar and a bass guitar and a DX5 and a minikorg and an effects pad and some Technics 1200s and two Pioneer CDJ1000s and more speakers and amplifiers and...

I'm getting excited. Better shut up. My christmas list is too long already. :x

You could do worse then get Reason, it's so so so much better than Fruity - trust me. But yeah, nothing beats real gear - I'd fucking love an 808.

I watch the videos on Youtube of people with real 808s and 909s creating beats... I drool... 8P

To the two people who put "needs work": what do you suggest? I've practically recreated the entire thing. :) I can't think of anymore to do.

why not think about what to do with it. Try to connect it to a body in a Intensive Care Unit or ambulance.. with some paddles to get a heart beating again.

not that most of us don't like music, but look into the submissions, not a lot of this technical hardware concepts around.
